In 2014, protestors took over major streets in Hong Kong calling for democracy. “Leaderless and orderly” and “the most polite demonstration” are among the few headlines international media used to describe the movement. The protest ended in 79 days but the government is continuing to prosecute protestors.
Nine key protesters of the Umbrella movement willstand trial Nov 19. They are charged with ambiguous offences and we are calling for the Hong Kong government to drop charges against them.
