Five athletes from the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya competed for Team Refugee in the 2016 Olympics Games in Rio.

Kakuma – Swahili for ‘Nowhere’ – is home to 200,000 refugees and to give them an opportunity of seeing their team members on the track, Amnesty International teamed up with FilmAid, UNHCR, and the Olympic Broadcasting Service to erect giant screens in the camp to stream the event live.

This is a film about how the Games were brought to the Kenyan camp.
