Stop returns of refugees under EU-Turkey agreement

Nearly 8,500 refugees, asylum seekers and migrants are trapped on the Greek islands, having arrived since the EU-Turkey deal went into effect on 20 March. Many fear the risk of being returned to Turkey, where concerns over their safety abound. Most are languishing in dreadful living conditions amid a painfully slow and opaque asylum process. Amnesty International has documented how Turkish authorities have forcibly returned groups of refugees to Syria and is campaigning against the returns. The video features the case of Ahmad, one of many at risk . He and his family left Syria and are now stranded in the island of Chios amid the fear of being returned to Turkey.
