Venezuela Protests: human rights at risk, people at risk

Take action here:

Venezuela seems to be on the brink of an abyss. Since the beginning of February 2014, the country has been shaken up by violence triggered by demonstrations pro and against the government in some parts of the country. This has led to 41 deaths, over 600 injured and over 2,000 arrests. Human rights violations and abuses in the context of protests must stop.

  1. I have been aware of this situation developing for years; albeit I think the causes of the problems and blame are a bit of a mixed bag, outside interests are the controlling factor. With the collapse of the Soviet Union came a new era of more self rule, puppet governments fell and even some criminals where put on trial. Now those days are over, and new rain of terror is slowly being instilled into all Central and South America.
