Journalism Under Threat – Amnesty Media Awards 2010


Amnesty International UK’s 2010 Special Award for Journalism Under Threat was dedicated to all independent media workers in Burma who bravely work in difficult and dangerous conditions.

The award was won by Independent Media Workers in Burma and the DVB – the Democratic Voice of Burma – was cited also, for their coverage of unrest and violence in that country.

Burmese imprisoned journalists Ngwe Soe Lin and Hla Hla Win are featured.
